Why Conformity

A steel project rarely fails on the welding

It fails at the interfaces — between designer, fabricator and erector. We hold all three in one hand, so there is nobody to point at and nothing to wait for.

Typical situation

The shop drawing is wrong, but it only surfaces on site. Designer and fabricator blame each other while erection stands still.

With us

Engineering pre-check. We review externally produced drawings before fabrication starts and consult the designer. If something deviates — even through no fault of ours — we correct it at short notice.

Typical situation

Five subcontractors, five invoices, five deadlines. Surface treatment slips, the galvaniser is full, the project drifts by weeks.

With us

One contract, one accountable party. Design, fabrication, in-house blasting and painting, site erection and after-sales service — from one engineering partner, on one schedule.

Typical situation

At handover the material certificate, the weld inspection report or the coating thickness record is missing. Technical acceptance stalls.

With us

Every step documented. A dedicated quality inspector from raw material to handover, with certified measuring equipment and a complete handover package.

Services

Five pillars, one accountable partner

We cover the full life cycle of a fabrication project — from the first technical meeting to warranty service. Any pillar can be taken on independently.

Conformity ConceptNeeds assessment and technical preparation

Detailed needs assessment, on-site technical consultation, mapping of site conditions and risks. A quotation with genuine technical content, plus proposals on solutions, scheduling and manufacturability.

Conformity DesignStructural and shop drawing design

In-house design capacity, structures optimised for fabrication, shorter design lead time. Structural design and fully detailed shop drawings to MSZ, EN and Eurocode — project-specific solutions instead of templates.

Conformity SteelSteel and metalwork fabrication

Bespoke and series-produced structures, complex connections. ISO 9001 quality management, production supervision, a dedicated quality inspector, in-house blasting and painting — with traceable documentation.

Conformity BuildSite erection and construction

On-site erection of structures made in our own workshop, led by a site engineering manager and a site foreman, with our own crews and a proven subcontractor circle. Materials and equipment are secured in advance — no idle time.

Conformity ProductsOwn products and development

The BIGSTONE concrete casting formwork, plus thermal break, concreting and expansion profiles, mobile ramp systems and bespoke building structures under development. Continuous R&D driven by market needs.

Quality and serviceRuns through all five

Weld inspection, dimensional checks, coating thickness measurement, surface quality — with certified equipment, fully documented. Active follow-up during and after the warranty period, fast-response service and documented complaint handling.

How we work

From the drawing board to handover

Seven steps, one accountable partner. Every phase has an owner, a document and a deadline — so you always know where the project stands.

01

Needs assessment

On-site technical consultation: requirements, site conditions, fabrication and erection constraints, risks.

02

Quotation and schedule

A quotation with precise technical content, plus proposals on solutions and manufacturability. No hidden scope.

03

Design

Structural and shop drawing design with in-house capacity, to MSZ / EN / Eurocode, optimised for fabrication.

04

Fabrication

ISO 9001 fabrication from prepared documentation, under production supervision, with certified welders.

05

Quality control and surface treatment

Weld inspection, dimensional and coating thickness checks. In-house blasting and painting; galvanising and intumescent coating with certified partners.

06

Site erection

Led by a site engineering manager and foreman, with materials and equipment secured in advance.

07

Handover and service

Complete handover documentation, then follow-up during and beyond the warranty period with fast-response service.

Strategic partner network — scalable capacity, consistent quality

We work with a deliberately built, long-term partner network: companies with equivalent or compatible technical background, certifications and controlled processes. This lets us take on larger or parallel projects without schedule or quality risk — while technical management, quality control and engineering responsibility stay with Conformity throughout.

About us

My engineering outlook has always been shaped by systems thinking: from civil engineering foundations through a structural engineering MSc to a nuclear plant operations specialisation, I have always been interested in how a system can be understood as a whole and made to work.

I have worked in project delivery management, as a cost expert, as a site engineering manager and as a client-side technical supervisor. My structural and geotechnical design licence means decisions can be made already at the design stage that materially help later fabrication and erection.

We don’t just fabricate. We solve.

Frequently asked

What procurement teams usually ask

Do you also handle design, or do you only fabricate from finished drawings?
Both. We have in-house design capacity, so we take on structural design and shop drawings as well — optimised for fabrication. If you already have drawings, our engineering team reviews them before production starts and consults the designer where needed.
What happens if a fabricated element does not fit on site?
In case of a discrepancy — even one that is not our fault — we correct the fabricated part at short notice so that erection can continue with minimal disruption. This is also why we pre-review externally produced drawings.
What documentation do I receive at handover?
A complete handover package: material certificates, fabrication and surface treatment records, weld inspection and coating thickness measurement results, plus all required declarations of conformity.
Can you handle larger or parallel projects?
Yes. We work with a strategic partner network whose members hold equivalent or compatible technical capabilities and certifications. Technical management, quality control and engineering responsibility always remain with Conformity.
Do you also arrange surface treatment and hot-dip galvanising?
Shot blasting and painting are done in our own facility, so scheduling and quality stay under our control. Hot-dip galvanising and intumescent coating are carried out by certified partner plants, at short lead times and with full documentation.
How quickly will I receive a quotation?
We respond to every enquiry within 48 hours. The lead time for a detailed, technically substantiated quotation depends on the complexity of the project — we always state it in our first response.
Is there a warranty and after-sales service?
Yes. During and after the warranty period we provide active follow-up and fast-response service, with an equipped service vehicle, spare materials and a documented complaint-handling process.
